Stuff you need

2 bottle caps*

2 single pole double throw sliding switches

2 single pole double throw press switches

2 1.5 V motors

4 large paper clips

2 AA batteries

1 AA battery holder

1 hot glue stick

2 LEDs

2 resisters

multi-colored wires
tools

hot glue gun

needle nosed pliers

wire stripper / scissors

Step 1

Insert batteries into battery holder, then but a blob of hot glue about half the size of a dime in the corners next to the wires that come out of the battery holder, then put the press switches at a 90 degree angle to each other on the hot glue so the top contacts are touching.

Step 2

Attach long legs of LEDs by twisting them together, then attach resisters to short legs.
Feed one of your red wires though the top poles. Crimp red wire on the poles that you just attached them to. Trim 2 inches of red wire that you just added so red wire is about an inch and a half long. Strip half an inch of the wire you just cut. Cut of the red wire coming from the battery holder so it is about 2 inches of an inch long. Strip 3 quarters of an inch of. Twist the 2 red wires together. Twist long legs of the LEDs and the red wires together. Wrap some aluminum foil around the connections and some electrical tape around the aluminum foil. Hot glue the red wire on place on the switch.
