Stuff you need
2 bottle caps*
2 single pole double throw
sliding switches
2 single pole double throw
press switches
2 1.5 V motors
4 large paper clips
2 AA batteries
1 AA battery holder
1 hot glue stick
2 LEDs
2 resisters
multi-colored wires
tools
hot glue gun
needle nosed pliers
wire stripper / scissors
Step 1
Insert batteries into battery
holder, then but a blob of hot glue about half the size of a dime in the
corners next to the wires that come out of the battery holder, then put the
press switches at a 90 degree angle to each other on the hot glue so the top
contacts are touching.
Step 2
Attach long legs of LEDs by
twisting them together, then attach resisters to short legs.
Feed one of your red wires
though the top poles. Crimp red wire on the poles that you just attached them
to. Trim 2 inches of red wire that you just added so red wire is about an inch
and a half long. Strip half an inch of the wire you just cut. Cut of the red
wire coming from the battery holder so it is about 2 inches of an inch long.
Strip 3 quarters of an inch of. Twist the 2 red wires together. Twist long legs
of the LEDs and the red wires together. Wrap some aluminum foil around the
connections and some electrical tape around the aluminum foil. Hot glue the red
wire on place on the switch.
